Since I last posted...

Since I last posted there have been some ups and downs. Also, my camera has not been downloading pictures right on to my computer....so I had a friend at work finally download my pictures!! Right now things have leveled off and everyone is doing ok. My niece Lily has an MRI next week and then she will be having her heart surgery. Please pray for her and her family that everything goes well!

In November, Taylor, Mommy, and Granma attended the Wiggles concert. It was tons of fun!! Taylor had fun singing and dancing during the whole show. Below are some pictures of the wonderful event!
Then at the beginning of December there was Grace's b-day party. Taylor had so much fun following his cousin Grace around. Or as he kept saying "where is My Gracie?" He absolutely adores her!! She was great to him and let him tag along with everything she did. He was completely worn out by the end of the party with trying to keep up with 5 year olds. Grace also enjoyed getting to play with her friends and then wearing a crown being a "birthday princess". Both Taylor and Grace enjoyed eating the cake and ice cream!
Then there was Christmas! We enjoyed spending time with both Mommy and Daddy's families. Taylor enjoyed all of the presents and attention he got from both families! We are so thankful for the wonderful family members we have. Christmas is always the time when I remember how truly blessed I am for all of the people that love myself, Taylor, and Jason. Grandma Jeanette and Grandpa Howard got Taylor a wonderful new tricycle that he loves to ride down the street to see his friends. Then Granma and Papa (my parents) gave Taylor a toolbench and a tv/dvd player for his room. He enjoys using both of them in his big boy room (that is what he calls it now). Taylor also enjoyed all of the many other gifts he got....especially all of the matchbox cars and personalized case that Aunt Sarah, Uncle Tom, Grace, and Lily gave him. Here are some pictures from the different holiday celebrations.

Lastly, on New Years Eve Grandma Jeanette babysat Taylor so that Jason and I could spend some time with friends. We enjoyed having a night out at our friends Jenni and Justin's house. It was a good time. Below is a picture of my best friend Jenni and I. The other picture is of all of the girls in attendance at the event. My best friend Lacey also made the event. However, some of my other best friends were unable to attend.....we missed them dearly!!

As you can see we have been rather busy! We enjoyed every minute of it though! I will try to update more often. Hopefully, I can keep on it! Our family hopes that you had a wonderful Christmas and New Years like we did!!

Halloween

We had a great Halloween! It started on Thursday October 30th. The City of Auburn had a trick or treat downtown at all of the local shops. Taylor enjoyed dressing up as Mickey Mouse and walking around with mommy and daddy and getting some yummy candy. Friday we went to my sister's an had a great time with Lily, Sarah, Tom, and Gracie. Taylor and I got to go trick or treating with Gracie, uncle Tom, and the Hughes kids down the street. Taylor enjoyed getting to be with the big kids, but it was very exhausting. He got tires about half way through, but stuck it out. All of the kids got tons of candy and had lots of fun. The next day we went over to the Campbell's house again and had a blast! Yet again we got to play with our friends down the street the Hughes. They are tons of fun! Papa then bought some yummy dinner and we then headed home to Granma and Papa's. Taylor can't wait until next year to do it all over!

Fall Festivities

Fall always bring fun events! Taylor, Daddy, and Mommy went to Callaway Gardens a few weeks ago with our friends Jenni and Justin. We had fun walking around the park and seeing butterflies in the butterfly garden. Taylor enjoyed the pumpkin patch. He liked picking out a pumpkin and painting it with Daddy! Mommy observed and took pictures. They also had a hay maze which Taylor enjoyed walking through. It was the perfect size for him. He followed Mommy and Daddy around.

Lily Campbell

My sister and brother-in-law have added another beautiful little girl to their family. Her name is Lillian Caroline. She was born September 23rd. I finally got a chance to go visit and meet her. She is so tiny and she likes to snuggle already. I immediately fell in love with her. I now am the proud aunt of two beautiful little girls. CONGRATULATIONS CAMPBELL FAMILY!!!! Here are some pictures of beautiful little Lily! My favorite is the one of Grace holding her baby sister.

Bear is Gone!

A couple of weeks ago we had a minor fiasco at our house. Jason was babysitting Taylor and they went out into the Garage to hang out for a little bit. Mommy had gone to the Auburn game with her good friend Laura. Mommy called to check in on daddy and Taylor. Daddy informed mommy that there was a slight problem, but not to worry. A million things ran through my head….but he did say not to worry. When mommy arrived home she asked daddy what exactly had happened. Come to find out Taylor had taken his Blue Bear….which he is extremely attached too….outside in the garage with him. He decided that Bear needed to take a swim…in a pan of OIL! Daddy tried his hardest to get it clean in the washing machine. Let me tell you Oil is very stubborn. The next day mommy soaked it 3 times in Oxy Clean and once in Dawn Scrubbers. Needless to say there was no saving poor Blue Bear. Taylor quickly informed mommy that next morning that “Bear Gone”. Mommy called Ganma and Papa and they said to go out and find a new bear to soothe his woes. Needless to say mommy went out and bought him a bear and a puppy that are very similar….you know since they no longer make the one he was so attached to. Taylor has quickly made new bear and puppy his new attachments! Thank Goodness! We will be putting the bear in a shadow box in Taylor’s room so he can remember his first favorite animal!

Summer 2008

So far summer has been pretty exciting! We went to Disney World in June and the Beach in July!! Taylor enjoyed both trips because he got to follow cousin Gracie around! He absolutely loves her...and pulling her pigtails. Disney World was a blast! Taylor enjoyed meeting Mickey , Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, and Tigger. He also enjoyed going on the rides with Mommy and Daddy. That's right Jason enjoyed going on the rides with T-man. They even went on a little roller coaster together. Taylor loves the beach...well not the sand, but the ocean and the pool!! He enjoyed playing in the pool with Gracie, Aunt Sarah, and Papa! He is definetely a Papa's boy!! He also enjoyed reading books with Grandma on the beach! We only could stay at the beach a couple of days, but we ate at many good restaurants. Taylor's new thing is corn on the cob! Interesting to watch him eat!! We had to leave the beach because mommy (Anna) had to go to class. That's right I am pursuing my Master's in elementary education and there is no break in the summer from class. I still have a 4.0 GPA after 18 hours of classes!! Plus, I had to get back to work. Haven't been here long enough to have a lot of vacation time! Jason didn't get to go to the beach due to work. We missed him dearly! Well we will update soon. These are pictures from our trip to Disney. We will post some pictures from the beach soon! The one of Taylor in a float is at the lake which Taylor and Mommy try to go to as much as possible on the weekends! We love you guys!!

New to Blog

My sister recently started creating a blog to update people on her family and what they are doing. So, I thought that I would start one for my family. I keep busy with school (working on my Masters in Elementary Education), work, keeping up with Taylor and Jason, and keeping a clean house. Jason is always very busy with work and buying/selling cars and motorcycles. We both enjoy spending time with Taylor and seeing how much he has grown over the two years. Taylor loves going to daycare to spend time with his friends. Unfortunately, one of his best friends is moving. He loves to swim, watch Wiggles movies, and play on his swingset. Below is a picture of Taylor right after he had his 2nd Birthday. That's right he is 2 now! We plan to keep you guys updated!
